renaissance

the set was done at renaissance in mansfield in early to mid 90's, there was a live P A on on the night so thats where the live percusion come from, hope that's helped you paul

hi there paul ive got this mix listed as sasha & mike pickering @ shine, hacienda, april 92

cant remember now who gave them details, might have came from a mis-labelled file

Cheers Paul. When did Renaissance open in Mansfield then as this set is almost certainly from around April '92 and I had always thought Renaissance had opened a bit later in the year than that?

Didn't realise it but also had this labled as "Sasha & Mike Pickering - Hacienda, Manchester - Apr-92", think I d\l off doosh on slsk who I always thought ripped a lot of his own tapes??

ive had this since 92 and always had it as a Mansfield tape. Renaissance was opened im March 92. i was at mansfield on at least one occasion when he opened with Roman.

The start of this is same as his Kickin hard, Inverness mix.

In that mix he plays one of the dubbier mixes of Inner City between the High on Vocal mix and the mariah carey tune. Could possibly be the same here?

yeah ur right it does go a bit dubby near the end of the track which isnt on the leftfield on high vocal mix

anybody know which dubby mix of Hallelujah he plays second?

It could be the bonus beats thing. I will have a shufty at mine and see if it is.

yeah i think it is the leftfield bonus beats, i just found them on a different mix and it sounds pretty similar

I agree, i have just listened to my 12" and the Inverness mix and it deffo sounds like the bonus beats
