You are right, it wasnt just Sasha loads of shops were selling tapes with big name DJs on and it was obvious after playing them that you had been ripped off. This was rife around 1992 and afterwards, people knew how much money was to be made selling mix tapes and as you say everyone jumped on the bandwagon but unfortunately you never knew what you were buying.
