Noel, this mix is excellent. I've had it for ages but I've only just listened to it properly. Just a few questions :

- Am i right in thinking there are two copies of Mighty Ming going on?

- Same question for Bombscare - two different mixes I think, but I can't check cos my decks are boxed up while we decorate

- Where does Cry Freedom start? Is it the bassline that comes in towards the end of your Nush clip?

Thanks for putting this one up
Chumley

just heard this for 1st time, sorry to dissapoint but theres no way on this earth that this is sasha mixing, same as before cant mix just drops tunes in when he does try to hold a mix theres a train crash.
how is it that the minute a tracklist comes about with tunes that sasha played everyone seems to assume automaticly that its sasha?
its just someone having a bloody good go at being sasha and failing badly

sorry but im feeling like im life and soul of the party at the moment

I'm definite that its a sasha mix purely on the fact that I have heard him do the Mombassa - Cry Freedom into SAS - Amber groove on another tape, and he was well known for using tried and tested mixes over and over again!

It is definitely Sasha. I was there. Sasha played a couple of times at One Love. The second set is worth seeking out too.

I love this mix, so I hope you aren't correct! I know Sasha has been known to mix together more than one mix of a record, eg on the Renaissance CD, and the Northern Exposures >>> but the off-beat mixing of 2 copies of Remake / Bladerunner to start this mix was a little surprising to me. Was he known to mix as such on live gigs of this era?
