Howdy people...

what's the deal with recording mixes onto comps? Got this £70 or so pod that records but the quality comes out real bad...

Is this likely to be poor setup on my part, cas o' cheap equip falling short or something that you master your way round?

Any ideas?

you mean direct from your mixer to ur pc?

you should only need a line in and a program like sound forge or audacity

Yeah, that's the one. Uses audacity.

Get problems with low volume, poor eq, etc... there are options to master the recording (amplify, bass boost, etc) but I can't get it anywhere near the quality of the GROUP MEMBER mixes...

looks like ur not on ur own - have u also checked ur recording levls etc etc
