just thinking about this tonight but imagine trying to sing ur fave old skool tune to a fella working in a record shop :$ i tried to sing to eastern block -mr luthero - rotation and it was piss poor i was just making up words as i went along lol but its mad how u make ur own words up to a tune :confused:

I used to do it all the time.

And one person used to with out fail make sense of my warblings

The greatest record shop manager the world has ever seen

Looks and sounds like a dodgy car salesman BUT has been selling club music for about 30 years

He knows everything and everyone AND can seel coal to newcastle - but only the remixed version!!!

His shop is just of of hatton garden .. go there if you can.

His regular customers reads like a "whos who" of club cuturel ...and when Erik Morillo is shoppin there you get a treat - (he gets behind the decks and performs ....the guy is class)

But you will spend more money than you expect too AND he supports Gillingham!!!

I did it every weekend without fail, especially in Beat Street records:D

If you needed a tune though and didn't have it on cassette, it was the only way;) :thumbsup:
