Doing it for sex i can totally understand, if you can't get it anywhere else then go for it, like Jiggs said, both parties get something out of it. It's the idea of someone doing it to avoid having to spend time (and money apparantly!!:| ) with real women doing real things and having real conversations!!! How socially inept must a man be if they would rather pay a woman for a quick shag instead, way beyond me that one:crazy:

A friend of a friend of mine. Who is completely able at getting a gf and is in no way socially inept. Used to use high class hookers, when he was raking it in. It was relayed to me that he could get high quality of sex without any baggage.

Never say never I guess. It can't be the oldest profession in the world without more than a couple of customers.

I'd suggest most people who use prozzies are like him. You'd be supprised how many men actually do. Groups of lads, proffessional family men...maybe ur best mate , brother, dad or grandad! Anyone.

In my job, you always get guys asking where they can go to get some...just normal blokes too. It supprised me at first too, just how common place it really is!

Because men are different than women. Their brains work in a completely different way to womens. They detach from sex far more easilly. It doesn't make them twats, it's just the way they were created!:)

I remember doing a module on prostitution in SOCIOLOGY. Sciologists argue that prostitutes are a good thing, because they help maintain the family constitution. The way they do this is that they let men take out their sexual frustrations in a safe way...so they can go home and be relaxed and be with his family, and his wife doesn't get pestered for anal sex basically.

Just a thought here, women also employ prostitutes for sexual gratification sometimes, what does this make them socialy compared to a male who frequents the local brass community?

I know we go on about our minds working differently and in most cases being able to detach from sexual encounters with greater ease than your average lady, but lets be fair it kinda works both ways.

Granted your male is more likley to take solice in your friendly neighborhood working person, Im in no way trying to say that isnt the case, was just curious as to what you thoughts are on the flip side of the coin :) :thumbsup:

and people could say i dont understand the fasination with drugs, drink , etc unless you do it yourself your not going to understand , watched a few documentrys on men and women that use hookers / escorts and each had there own valid reason for it , none of the people in the documentrys were social misfits , just everyday people that choose to pay for sex for there own reasons , as long as there not hurting anyone else i cant see a problem with it at all :thumbsup:

I know a guy who is addicted to hookers.
He goes out in the middle of the night (from partners bed.......sneaking off) to find the ugliest he can....(i cant get my head round this part)
In the event he has lost 2 very stunning girlfriends because of this habit.
He is drop dead gorgeous and loaded............so what is it all about:confused:

If you suffer from an addiction you usually find you get into a routine. This is probably the routine he's created. It's probably also become a bit of a fetish for him to shag prozzies and maybe he doesnt feel satisfied unless he has sex in this way/routine.

The be all and end all of it is he has a problem and he needs help! A sex addiction can be just as or even more destructive than an alcohol or drug addiction.

i think like said previously, you get some men who go to prozzies cos of the filth aspect. Some fellas might love their wife or girlfriend, but she might not like it up the exhaust pipe, sukky sukky or being treated a bit rough etc ! Or it could be they dont have a high sex drive so the man goes and gets some extra sexual kicks somewhere else.

Another angle, especially with the amsterdam experience, is just about male bonding. Load of lads go to the Dam, want to make it a weekend to remember etc, so they get stuck in. They might think about the STDs, but after weighing up that theres plenty before who've been, dipped it in and come away clean (they use condoms surely), so they take the gamble and have an 'untouchable' mentality. :cops:. And a few space cakes in between. Im not saying its right, but it is the truth.

and they are providing a service that society does need (its a healthy outlet for all those with suppressed sexual desires or fetishes etc

and i think men do view and experience sex quite differently than women
so wud guess that more men use prostitutes than women!

the thing that really bothers me about it
is all the girls that get into prostitution thru very desparate circumstances, with no real way out, girls that are sold, or come from abusive families, ending up with tw*t pimps and drug problems, the real lower end of the market, that is just totally grim, and they are doing it just to live
this makes me quite sad

Yeah ur right. But I used to know a male escort, he said it was always older women who came to him...where as with men, it's any age group too. What does that tell you??? i don't know any girls who have seen a prostitute, but i know a couple of lads my age.

I think there is still a stigma attached to women who enjoy sex openly too...who do want no strings sex, they're still labeled a slag by most people...so I think this is also a factor into why not as many women would go and see a male hooker. Another thing is too, most women could get sex at any time, of most men (attractive ones too)...I don't think it is the case for most men however.

I suppose there is pros and cons to both sexes abilities and freedoms hey?

this doesn't just happen in amsterdam...the amount of conversations ive had at work with lads about the fact they've been somewhere, or a group wanting to know where to go is stupid. Alot have girlfriends/wives etc etc.
