Very sad - helped give Manchester and the nation so much. A real spirited individual.
Funnily was belting out JD's "Heart and Soul" this morning and thought "what a scene Manchester had".
He was really "something else".

I knew what the post was about before I opened it! Just knew!
Met the guy a couple of times at the Hac and yes he did love himself! However, he had every right to!!! He was Anthony Wilson, the Brian Clough of music!
Really sad news. Music fans all owe him a great deal. Anyone with Manchester connection does not need telling the debt we all owe him.
What a legacy he leaves us.

Just read this on the DJ History forum. Not much on it at the moment, but the news reports i've seen all confirm it. True pioneer and a real charachter, gutted to hear it.
