I have a DAT tape - Alister Whitehead @ IF! 3.09.94 but i havent got a machine to play it on. Can anyone help me??? Dont mind if i get the DAT back, just want a copy of whats on tape.

I have, will give it a test first to make sure it works ok (wouldn't want to chew tapes up in it)

Bloody tetchy them things...superb sound quality, but i had plenty of heart from chewed tapes..that are then completely unretriveable

Funny that this was posted now, I just received an original NWA - Express Yourself DAT in the mail. Now I just need to find a DAT player!

I think if they are at work I'm guessing they will be storage drives, not music DAT drives, used to back up data, if you've a use at home for backing up data then take them home, or sell them on ebay?

Just been rummaging through some stuff in my deck room, and found a DAT recording of Mark Jarman. It's from the mid nineties I think, but I don't have a DAT machine so can't find out what's on it! Anyone willing to take it and rip it for the OSA? I don't need it back as I have nothing to play it on, just wanted to listen to it. Cheers!

No, never did find anyone with a DAT machine (didn't look too hard really :$ ) and now the DAT has vanished into the black hole of my deck room. I'm sure I could find it again if someone with a machine turned up.
