Tunes that had ace versions on the promo release but were were shit on the major release.... why ??

One that stands out for me is the resung vocal on the full release of Bass Value-Do You wanna party. Tbh i still don't know which version has the proper vocals except its a white. Ed

The original White of Tinmen - 18 strings was decent enough. Then those rapists at FFRR got there hands on and realised they couldn't put it out with the original Nirvana sample on it, so they botched it and made it sound crap....

A prime example of it all going Pete Tong for Pete Tong...

god within - the phoenix one I've been trying to get a rip of with the orignal ELO guitar. Even the released version has the same bloody mix name even though its different think its called "someday my plane will crash"

In fact I've had two - both off Pauly P... one I've kept & the other went to the bird at the time... as did an awful lot of expensive tunes

bought a collection last year with about 6 copies in it and sold them all then found a couple more in a pound shop and they have gone too

Cosmos - Take Me With You

That's the version i've got. Just listened to the instrumental the other day- proper summer track, like to drop Doug Lazy over the top. I'd love to hear the white of it, if it's better.
Didn't really rate the vocal version or the Daft Punk 'harder/faster' bootie that came out.
