Only gangster rap album worth a shit is NWA Straight Outta Compton.
Maybe some early Ice T (Colors was pretty hot). I agree all the newer stuff is a joke.

I'm so trired of GUNS BITCHES AND BLING. Originality in Hip Hop is at an all time low (at least on the commercial level).

if forced into a corner and i had to choose id say eminem - but then again thats only cos i hear him on the radio a lot, apart from that i dont know many other rap stars names as its not the type of music i listen to very much.
