Is anyone else's copy of this well jumpy? There isn't a #19 on my copy.. it jumps from Alternations into Dionne

It's really bad around the 6 min mark of Side B during Dionne. :(

And that is just the end of Pink Noise by the way.
I know the other one but just can't remember what it is I will contact Steve and play it to him for you I havent spoken to him for a couple of years so if his number is the same I will find out for you.

When he was last round he left me a tape from Sequins in Blackpool and one from the Roxy in Amsterdam, there is a track on the Roxy one which he told me was called Alright Alright does anybody know what that tune could be. And how would I upload it for you all to listen to to ID it.

Right hopefully this will work there are two records I need Id-ing this is Steve Williams at the Roxy Amsterdam even he cant remember what they are called.
The first one he says is called Discovery Zone.

The second is the Alright Alright track I mentioned, this is the one I have been after for years they don't make them like this anymore.

Like I say I hope they upload if not some one give me pointers on how to get them up, trust me they are worth it.

Alright Mike, cheers for that ID

Best way to get samples off tapes is to get hold of some software for your PC that can record samples from an analog to a digital source (MP3)

I use Easy CD Creator 5, but there are a fair few about such as Soundforge, Cool Edit etc. Someone on here should be able to sort you out with some software ;)

Then get hold of a connector that can plug into your Line In source on your computer and your tape deck. They normally cost around 2 quid I think.

When connected up, you should hear the tape playing through your comp. The software should be able to record this source at different bit rates. Ideally you need to be recording it between 32kbps to 64kbps. That should give you a long enough sample without the filesize being too large

On another note, that Alright Alright track, how old is it?

There is an early Masters At Work tune from 87 with that sample

Yes I have got Sound Forge Ive recorded them on to my desktop then I went to upload them but nothing was really happening maybe like you say the file size is to big. I will try and sought this out.

The alright alright track I would think is from 88 89 I have heard the main MAW track of the same name and it's nothing like it. This one sample's Kraftwerks Numbers track it's just awesome a real house Record.

Yes the file size is too big just tried again says it's like 7mb oops.
