i got A MK 2 m8 but when i went 2 power zone in burnley they said 2 get it lowed it would cost me £220 thats only 4 the sping no shocks :( how much did u pay and were

it depends what your reasons for lowering it are mate, if u just want it for the looks and better handling, then just using springs is ok i suppose but ideally, the springs and shocks need to match to gain a decent ride comfort.
my mate lowered it using springs alone and although it looked and handled miles better it nearly broke your arse everytime you hit a bump.

IMO if u can afford to wait a few months save your cash and buy a set of spax, or some coilovers, complete sets of shockers and springs. well worth it :thumbsup:
