The greatest gatekeeper that ever lived and when they open the books, we'll be a joke for allowing it to happen. The guy is a fucking talentless hack who should be prevented from having anything to do with music and the antithesis of what the original Acid ethos was about who's widely disliked by many players in the game and only tolerated because he can either break or destroy your chances of a career on a whim and genuinely resents talented people.

Yeah, but it's over now, the damage is done and it's been flogging a dead horse for years. He presided over it when it mattered and helped ruin it.
I go out to a club now and it's just people standing/milling about with their phones out even on bigger nights facing some guy with a laptop waving his arms about like a **** while no one seems to give a shit. I've actually grown to almost hate the thing I loved. I watch that Boiler room shit on Youtube and want to kill half of the cunts in the room despite being an anti-violence former shroomer, so I don't really care how it is now.

Yeah, but it's over now, the damage is done and it's been flogging a dead horse for years.

for us it's over, we've have had our time, that's why we're on an oldskool site reminiscing about our time, when it mattered to us.

young guys coming up will think the music of now is their time, if they listen to our music from the early 90s they will think its crap, that how it works.

life is a conveyor belt, they are just stepping onto the conveyor belt of life, we are further along the conveyor belt looking back at the times we had when we stepped onto the conveyor belt.

last night might have been a young guys first time getting out of it, dancing all night, to them last night was their woodstock.

Not for me, I still go out to clubs, festivals and free parties regularly. I never stopped.
You can clearly and objectively chart a decline and you can post a load of radio stations etc, but that's missing the point. Pete Tong manoeuvered himself into a position where most of the clueless punters perceive him as the guy at the top, a taste-maker who defines a scene I found before I was aware of his existence. The fact that acid house has morphed into what it has become, largely defined by Pete Tong a talentelss fuckwit, is a travesty and it was allowed to happen by too many people not speaking out because their cashflow depended on it and that for me goes against what it was supposed to be about in the first place. Seeing him celebrated as a pioneer drives me fucking nuts. It's like Honey G running Hip Hop. He was even on Sunday Brunch with Ed Balls ffs.
