A full on fantastic post there.... much appreciated

already got the 4th April as a tape, always nice to hear it agian as this is one of my favourites and always will be :D think this tape has an extra track - Blake Baxter on it on Side B

Quality all the same

Just flicking through the 11th... sounds a good one, not heard this before :D

The parky on the 24th is a great set too... second from this date if i am correct (i think Newy listed one for the 24th and we went for the 25th which was the Saturday) great set with one or two of the tracks the same... could be one is from the night and one a demo... all the same, thanks for a great set once again :D listening to this loudly you can hear crowd whistles.. got a shiver hearing it!! excellent tape

the wainwright ones... fantastic....

got to agree about this being a great time at the Hac... got to be down to the residency as both knew how to work those nights...

cheers again... quality post

no probs, happy to share.

It was the best era, we went virtually every Sat from May 91 - April 93 hence I have stacks of tapes.

The music in the summer of 91 was great but the residency really found its feet late 91 early 92, they were the best nights.

Tom would play Hi Bias, Nu-groove, Strictly warm up stuff and then parky doing what he did best, two copies of the latest Def mix biggie

Somewtimes the finest music was Parky's first hour as he was building the night, some sublime tracks played and all new, as the later part of the night he tried out the big long mixes with clever drops.

Think some of the tapes were from other Parky nights, ie the Fridays, as he did Leeds and Nottingham alot too and these got sold at the Hac too hence some confusion with dates.

The morales night was one to remember in 92, got that tape and seen it up's here.

Great Post:thumbsup:

This was my favourite era for House Music, Hacienda was fantastic on a Saturday night the minute you walked in with the build up to the peak of the night. Fantastic times.

Love track 2... haven't heard it on a GP tape before. Have never heard him play the Warehouse Saturday Nite Mix of 'Out Of Control' ...always thought that would suit his sets more than the FHR mix which I find cheesy tbh. Much prefer the Def Dub of Jody Watley too. :)

cheers for that ID, didnt know it but love this track and now have a copy winging it through the postal system :D
I've just corrected the mix name... just realised it was wrongly listed on a couple of Sasha tracklists after checking on youtube. Looks like there was only one release on Guerilla... React 2 Rhythm Discography at Discogs ...so hopefully that's the one you've ordered and it won't make a difference to you!

I can, just about, remember him playing it. Played on about pitch -6 but it blew the lid of the place as it wasn't his normal type of track. Loads of us bought it on the back of that tape.

Few momments like that in the hac, like when Morales played the Thomspon Twins - saint - Red zone dub.

He is playing 250 yards away from where I live on Sunday night. Bizzare after all these years.

Keep the id's coming please

Will list up my May, June and July to do's later
