Sidechain Compression

After a bit of help,

Does anyone know if you can create sidechain compression within Cubase 4, i want it so the bassline uses the comression from a kick drum, i know that this is a common trick used in dance to help create that pumping effect but not sure if i can do it within cubase 4.

I know it can be done within logic but not to sure about Cubase

It is very easy in Logic send your kick to bus 1 slap a compressor over the sound you want to pump and select bus 1 on the compressor easy!

There is also another way to!

What is that BT Video called i would'nt mind a look at that

Hi......i use cubase (sx2)....there are afew things you can use for sidechain compression, but the best 1 i've got is by "DB AUDIOWARE"....It's a mastering bundle with 3 different compressors in.
you can also do it with a cuple of the "WAVES" pluggin's.
Rave Safe Fella.
