Cubase 4

Just about to do a major upgrade to my PC and software and its looking like moving to Cubase 4.

Anybody got it/ use it and any comments to add that maybe helpful ?

Looks the dogs danglies and the only drawback I can find is you cannot import full VST files - which is the operating system I am currently using. Seems you have to transfer them to SX and then to Cubase 4.

A big fook off rasberry to Steinberg for not offering an upgrade except in America. Why you tossers ??

"VST" is not an operating system?
I'm sort of at a loss here as to what exactly is being asked, as "VST" is not a type of OS. In fact, the term stands for nothing more than "Virutal Studio".
Is it VST effects being discussed here, VST instruments, VST project files? Not really sure what's being asked.
In any regard, VST effects and VST instruments should transfer just fine.

And Cubase SX has been Steinbergs Cubase for years really. I mean are you trying to move Cubasis project files or something?

Again, what's being said here just really isn't coherent.

I had been using a cracked copy of cubase 3 since it came out, because i was using it so much i did the best thing & went out & bought the legit copy of Cubase 4, the only thing i can say is wow

The new Halion One Vst it comes loaded with is immense, so many lush sounds like electric pianos, strings & synths to There are also loads of new presets loaded into things like the compressor, a mass of eq preset to which is handy for me coz i am not the best at using my ears when it comes to rogue frequencies

I would deffo get this mate as it also comes with a massive book on how to use every single thing within it

They have introduced a few nice extra touches like Instrument tracks & the new media bay which scans your hard drive for all your samples & loads em in this nice media bay feature

At the minute i think its actually half price, i bought mine from Sound Control in Manchester for £395. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Just off topic i have also just invested in the Refx Nexus Vsti, cant wait for that bad boy to land on the door mat

Fully recommend getting it fella
