Can you not just use another keyboard and control it via midi? I've got a Roland JX-3P that has a key that doesn't sound but it works fine over midi... Just a thought and easy fix ![]()

Can you transpose down and up (I've got an Alpha Juno 2 but can't remem if you can or not?) as that would get round it another way.. I reckon Roland would be expensive, I'd e-mail kenton electronics in London and see what they'll charge you, they did a midi retrofit and service to some 303's I've had and sold (and kept) and were always spot on. tech@kentonuk.com

keyboard repairs tend to be fairly costly. Alpha Junos can be found pretty cheaply nowadays....just heard of one selling for under a £100 in fact. Normally would expect to pay more than that, but the point is simply that typically keyboard repairs on things that have after touch and such are going to run you more than £100. In the end, I'd say either use another keyboard controller to handle it or simply buy another Alpha Juno. Both options are going to be the most cost effective ways to go.
