Whooooaaaa there. Just hold on, give it more time bud. Have u made owt before (without gelling pre looped stuff together)??. It could prove daunting I suppose at first, but once you grasp it you realise it wasnt so bad!.

Take a look at some demo/net fruity native songs and see how they were made.

Cheerio,

sirius.

i got plenty of vst's just no instruments all of them are just bass fuzz and stuff like that. I'd give it a bash if i had a few of them can't find em on the net anywhere.

i downloaded the techno pack and the 3 packs by fruityloops but they just give ya crappy instruments like really crap sounds..lol

Bit of a gem this site (if u havent been b4). Its legal, hence I post it here. Its basically loads of the nets FREE versions of Vsti's, so you dont spend hours looking. I dont use Vsti's anymore, so its of more use to u than me .

http://www.kvr-vst.com/inst.php

Just choose the right criteria in the search and it will spit out at least 65 instruments to try out - but whats best is theres a 'patch bank' type section to top up sounds for the instruments with ones folk have made and submitted.

See ya

Sirius.

Aye I use fruityloops loads for when I have to come up with a custom score for a webby or sommat, though one of the best tunes (in my mind anyway) was one me and biskit spent the best part of 24hrs putting together after the last Creamfields!!!

I never heard it when I wasn't of my tits though so god knows what it actually sounds like.

Cooledit 2 has got a shitload more loop functionality built into it now and has got some great loops available at www.loopology.com but I still rate fruityloops as the best I've used so far.

Anyone tried Acid? I'm always hearing good things about that?

Yes,Fruity is more of a sound creation tool than a tracker,u can get "Fruitytracks" to put it together..it all really makes u appreciate the early phat sounds of the rave seen, especially when sounds then, were so much more advanced than most sounds now,and the equipment then was basic compared to whats available now, almost like the scene has gone backwards...
