Old Tapes

Hi peeps,

Just managed to get hold of one of these:

EDIROL R-09 24-bit WAVE/MP3 Recorder :: Overview

I was going to use this to convert all my old tapes to mp3 and then upload to mediafire. Taking into account that the quality of a lot of these tapes, I assume I can clean this up once converted to mp3?
