think it shows a good all-round view of dance music over the years. Gonna have to hear what the Charades one sounds like though.

Good list that

Billie Jean is deffo a dance-floor killer although I prefer this version:

Michael Jackson & Eric B. & Rakim / Edie Brickell & New Bohemians - Cluedo Vol. One

I don't really dislike any of them but the ones I like the least are 7, 8, 9.

Not sure No. 6 is really a dance tune as such. More like a chill out tune or soul. Does no. 3 also really qualify or is it soul/jazz/funk?

No. 9 should not be there. Not even a patch on the original Rose Royce Tune

No probs with the others, although isnt the year wrong for no.5? I thought it was from 1990 originally?

5. Where Love Lives – Alison Limerick (1994)?

Tune! I would also agree with Ant, that it shows a well rounded view of dance music in the broader sense.

It was BBC Radio 2 listeners, so I think they have done pretty well to be honest.

Depends mate, I sometime listen on an evening or lunchtime for Jeremy Vine.

Then again I'm 34 going on 54

Still I would rather listen to BBC Radio 2 than BBC Radio 1 anytime. I actually tend to listen to BBC Radio 5 Live in the car.

Smooth FM all the way for me, with a bit of Century here and there
