i have the original of high society like some other people on here,it dont bother me in the slightest about this booty cos im not wanting to sell it,if i ever needed money i would do overtime at work or mug an old granny,my collection is part of my life and will stay with me for many years, its amazing what you can fit in to an Aldi carrier bag

I'm definitely against lots of bootlegs being made, given the tunes I own and how much I've spent on my collection. I also think this boot sucks for the ppl who spent a lot on the originals, but at the same time, I'd love to have one just to play and listen to it - I don't have enough $$$ to spend $500+ each for the originals.

That said, the buyer who spend the $200+ for this boot is an idiot - congrats to the seller, but I doubt too many will sell for that much.

He/she's not an idiot, they obviously love the music and that was their way of getting the music for a more modest price on vinyl

When you really need the music, you'll pay for it

totally agree with that ive spent hundreds on records and i didnt want to spend a few hundred more at this time on one record hence buying the bootleg maybe i will see the original in a few years going for a lot less and then i will buy it
to me music is there to be shared so if someone does a bootleg fair play to them as theres so many people out there that cant get their hands on the original

If someone wants to spend that much on a record that's not even an original, I'm more than happy to let them

There's so much good music in this world that I can buy for much less, so I think it's basically pointless to spend that much on a single record. Then again, I've never paid that much for any one record in my collection, so it's probably just me

I've been there, done that though and I see where the persons coming from. If you need to have the music then you'll understand that you've gotta buy it when it's available. You don't think from a collectors point of view.

I guess it's how much you love and need the music at the end of the day

I hear ya, though I guess I'm still wondering this: how many ppl can tell the difference between simply loving the music and NEEDING the music? I know my pocket book is happy b/c I don't need all the music that I love!
