I think it is wrong there were never enough copies of the really great records to go around thus forcing people into making bootlegs

been on jolllies for 2 weeks.

Fair enough knock out bootlegs of these 3 as their rare as chuff but anyone who does should at least sell them as a bootleg, you'd have to be scum to take £100+ off someone for a dodgy boot you've knocked up

It's not as if the seller set the price though - you can hardly hold him accountable for people bidding...

Scum??? A well harsh and regrettable comment in my opinion. They were sold as a booty, just some crazy folk decided to pay silly money for a boot. The buyers fault not the sellers. To label any seller scum because of an auction that went silly is wrong. Folk will pay what they will pay.

totally agree its upto the individual whos buying / bidding or whatever , ive said it before nobody holds a gun to these peoples heads

also its not upto the record police to dictate music prices its a FREE market , someone has had an idea seen a gap (probably made a few people jeaulous ) in the market and filled it , fair play i say , imo its no more dodgy than swaping mp3s

I know people will bid stuff up lol but If i'd knocked out a booty of some in demand tracks, I would not take a £100+ off someone daft enough to bid.. its totally unreasonable to take that kind of cash off someone (however daft they maybe) for something you've done behind the orginal artists back illegally (I add).


I hate Booties along with Easty and I've always had a strong opinion on them. (check my previous posts lol)

I've got the same opinion of DVD/cd pirates.. (DJ mixes are ok becasue the "mixtape" has always been a dodgy) At college I did reseach into mixtapes and its a very interesting subject re copyright / artist promotion etc etc



Q words lol, my personal copy and not a dodgy bootleg!!! , was in sealed sleeve when I got it. no intention to sell it although £150 would swing me (i've turned down £100, £125 & £131 in the last 3m...what credit crunch lol)

i think it was a good idea to booty high society simply because there wasnt that many out there - at end of the day fair play to the seller if someone wants to pay silly money for a bootleg thats up to them
i am now the proud owner of this bootleg and the quality is grand
