| Choons you bought and regret We've all done it, bought blind and its a pile of do do, terrible cheesey vocals, awful samples, too slow, too fast or worse still out and out pop. Help us all save some money, including expensive post from the states or europe, by naming a piece of crap you've bought, I'll start with this Bernadette Washington - Straight to my heart- Inside (put it this way its not like Jill saunders or Collapse, just a poor attempt at cheesey street soul) |

![]() a lot of it is easily dated, bad-production values & smurf vocals.... this on the other hand is a fucking beast YouTube - Release - Dance In Eden It's all about quality rather than quantity...

| I prefer the orig but both are good ![]() re my comments about hardcore... alot of the tunes in 1992 - 3 tried to get the rush by the hyper bpm rather than the quality of the music... there were some very notable exceptions & quality releases.... there was a lot of throw-away bedroom-produced dross though....

Yea, but you gotta appreciate this stuff was made on amigas and st's by kids completely mashed. As for release......top tune, but there were so many more of the same style....too many to mention ! I agree, there were alot of one off whites floatin around that were shockin but loads were amazing....anyway, think we kinda lost the point of the thread dude...

| Had to be the non house version of Patti Day - Right before my eyes. I picked it up in vinyl exchange years ago without actually checking the version, rushed home, slapped it on the 1210 and had that instant sinking feeling! ![]() |

I got hold of loads of MP3's from a mate, which I'm still sifting through on the way to work on the old IPOD, and the difference between 91', 92' and 93' hardcore is amazing in terms of the increase in BPM |
