That's usually the problem, I actually try not to listen to tunes that I like too much, same with films - then when they do pop up you enjoy them more

lol I know what ya mean
but suppose you're snookered if you keep hearing them in clubs where the choice is out of your hands
best take along some ear muffs in case of overplay emergencies methinks

For me it's got to be:-

Brothers in Rhythm - Peace & Harmony

During the summer of '90 you couldn't get enough of it but now I can't even look at it without gagging!

A few come to mind straight away..

Bass Value - Feelin Happy & Do You Wanna Party. Neither do anything for me.
Rozalla - Everybody's Free. Hated it then, hate it now.

Popular tunes that you don't like is easy, as that would be most of them.

Popular tunes you do like (or ones that have become hugely popular) is a little bit more tricky.

I absolutely adore Adamski's - Killer and will happily stick it on and give it a listen. It was about as popular as it gets as it was a number one.

Have to agree with that, if only for Seal's 'killer' vocals.. first class

A tune I really don't like but nearly everyone I know loves is Goldie Inner City Life. Don't know why, but it just doesn't do anything for me.
