I like it much as the original, i'm afraid to say, as much as i really abhor K Klass....

As said above if this was dropped in a club you'd shake your cakes to it.

sorry m8, normally i would agree with you on this one, but much as i love SLD, i like this remix.

imo, the best version of SLD was the justin robertson one, which itself was a remix of the original

lots of classic tunes were remixes of, or sampled from, earlier house, motown or disco tunes, and if everyone had taken the purist attitude back in the day, lots of great tunes would never have been made

the original version kicks the arse out of this one, but if i heard this out i'd be bouncing around with a big grin on my face

surely that's what it's all about

I hear what ya saying but it aint right imo

A lot in dance music is re-hashed in some way or another, but as strange as it is these days, we have supposedly better technology yet the sounds are pants.

Check the piano sounds on this remix, they sound flat and pathetic compared to the M1 piano used originally on SLD - that's not rose tinted specs on my behalf either as I've bought lots of studio stuff over the years even in the 00's that has better piano sounds than I've heard used on this K-Klass remix.

K-Klass themselves used to do some fantastic remixes, remember one they did of a Level 42 track that I heard in the Hac and it took my head clean off, this doesn't sound like them at all - I wouldn't be surprised if someone has done it and they've agreed to put their name to it! As mad as that sounds it's not the first time people have done that.

Your average pisshead punter who couldn't differentiate one tune from another will lap this up in a club, that much I agree, but to anyone with some taste this is a piss poor attempt, even with all the extra (unecessary) vocals on it, it's annoying.

Bottom line for me is this - does it excite me?

No, Dave - it's shit.

Agreed, absolute bobbins.
The piano is arranged differently, which may be intentional, or just a big mistake. Whichever way, it sounds wrong.

I cant help but like it more each time I listen to it I think the xtra bit of vocal works. Fair enough its not the original, but at the end of the day and doesnt have a multitude of memories attached to it but its still a decent tune and in comparison to the Denise Lopez mutilation in the other thread its a bloody masterpiece! And if it only gets one person to say'i like this sound and wanna hear more' then thats a good thing.

Just seemed a bit pointless to me. It mimics the existing versions of Getting out too closely to add anything new and what has been added is just ok.

As far as remixes go, it's not ground breaking.

Well that's my opinion anyway.

Predictable formulated pap.

The extra vocals are shite.

I am sure the piano is out of sync over the `getting out` bit - does it come in too soon?

I also agree the piano sound is bloody awful.

K-Klass can do far better than this.

Nil points.
