Most of my records from 1988-92 which were rare are totally scrubbed .You have to remember that there was no internet no mobile phones. You would play a night get home about 3am be up for 8am into Eastern Bloc etc and spend all day going through all the stuff to find that record.I used to travel to liverpool ,leeds ,chester ,birmingham, warrington for records ,so when you'd spend that much time it was like it was your own. I wouldnt do it today but thats why some from that time are scrubbed ,and I certainly didnt do it for the money back then it just covered my record bill.

Sounds much more fun! A real needle in a haystack job, but the feeling of finding the tune must have been great. No wonder you were protective of your hard fought gains!
