| need help with a 1210 !!! had a set of 1210's now for about 13yrs. give them some hammering and am very lucky that i havent even had to get them serviced. (just changed needles here and there!). recently though, one of the decks has started to wander whilst in the middle of a mix, either just slowing down or speeding up. i suppose its just the same as when you're mixing when the pitch is nearly at 0. the only thing i can say is that i have had the decks speeded up since i have had them, although i dont think this is the problem though. has anyone an idea to the problem or encountered the same thing? any help is much appreciated. |

| If you open them up there should be two screws inside clearely marked (one is for the pitch calibration) that needs turning back to factory settings! im not brave enough to open the decks up myself but dave will have a look at them for me im sure next time hes up at mine! makes life really hard work when mixing around the '0' pitch marker ![]() |

| If you remove the platter (lift off the spindle) there is a Plastic grille type cover with about 4 or 5 screws. If you remove this you will see a blue potentiometer (Which if the decks has been pitched up will have the arrow at 3 o'clock) the factory setting is for the arrow to be pointing to 12 o clock, so will need to be turned 'Anticlock wise' back to that position'.
