(Does anyone know any different?).

I would love it if the monopolies / government people took control and stopped them taking the piss. They even bought out tradera, which is a swedish ebay type thing, which had some little beauts on at one point. Maybe its about time someone brought along a rival which might give them some competition and make them push their prices down a little. They are so loaded they've even spending their money on prime-time advertising on the TV now. (But it wouldnt be so bad if they used it to advertise my tunes in between corrie though!)

its getting well pricey, you can't buy records to sell on ebay, if you've found a box in your attick and you don't care you will make ok money otherwise there's no point.

I only ever list things when its 10p a listing or free.

a £1.00 record costs 25p to list & then they take 5/6% of final value fee which is a rip off

Just checked my paypal (its 3.4% + 20p per transactino received)

received charge percentage
£1.00 23p 23%
£1.69 26p 15.4%
£3.49 32p 9.2%
£4.97 37p 7.4%

basically the more you recieve the lower fee your charged althougth this will make you laugh

This will make you laugh peeps!!!

I recently bought an item on ebay (basically a download computer programme) I paid £1 for it via paypal

you would be charged
25p listing fee
6p final value fee

if you accepted paypal they would charge you 23p

that means from a sale of £1 you would receive 44p

You recieve 44% of the sale price Ebay would receive 56% (as they own paypal!!!)

What a ripoff!!!!

Deffo think that is the way forward you know, I've been using it for a while and it cuts out the paypal fees at least, you still have final sale deduction and listing fees - need to eliminate them next
