Which online seller collective do you prefer?

I'm interested to see which of the 3 major seller collectives everyone uses.

I usually always go for GEMM first. I like the way the record is removed as soon as you buy it.

I prefer GEMM but you have to be aware with Gemm that the sellers rate you privately and if you have a problem with a seller they can rate you unfairly. For example, if a seller fails to deliver a product they can leave you negative feedback that can effect whether other sellers will deal with you. Its only for sellers to see and you will never see it.

I had a problem with a seller from the US who never delivered. I never left him negative feedback and I just wrote it off as "one of those things" - didn't even bother chasing the refund. As a result I was labelled as a "problem buyer" and was never informed. Bare in mind I'd spent over 2k with Gemm without a problem and this one issue caused me several hassles with a couple of sellers not willing to sell items to me.

I complained to Gemm and as a result they clear the rating because the seller who left the feedback has been forcibly removed from Gemm.

Just a warning and I still use Gemm.

Regards,
f.

The record is removed when you buy it on Music Stack too

Music Stack all the way, doesn't have extra fees added to the price unlike Gemm, also the search is better imo.

I've found more things on Music Stack that haven't been on Gemm than I've found the reverse.

I hope more people on here continue to use Gemm though, means that I'll still be able to rape Music Stack for all its wares

Last time this poll was done (without Netsounds) Gemm was way in front, be interesting to see the results this time round:

What about Discogs....i've been sellin for over 1 year and never had any problems....there have been some dodgy sellers but doesn't every site.. there is a feedback system so the buyer can buy with confidence......plus you can search thru by artist, label, remixer, and genre...

Yeah, discogs is pretty ace really because you can browse your wantlists for sale. Ive never had a problem with them. I also use juno, but not for oldskool, and they dispatch the same day.

Gemm for me, i like the set up of the wishlist so you can save/buy them later on a good addition to the site. still use the other's tho but not as much as i did.

still hate the new colors tho, i use the classic format as the other format stinks!!!! ......what were they thinking.........
someone here said "red and green should never be seen". deffo right there

for that mistake i'll pick netsounds = 1 vote

How do you change it?

I've always found that everything that is listed on Musicstack is also listed on Gemm, but not everything that is listed on Gemm is listed on Musicstack.
