£112 for Jams - It's Grim Up North (grey vinyl 1 sided promo)

I went on the train to go pick it up from Crewe as didn't trust the postal service at the time

I've personally not spent over £100 for a record, but I've had them bought for me over that.

Most I ever paid for a record was about £40 for this DJ Tiesto record:

DJ Tiesto - Battleship Grey

Now that I'm certain everyone is having a good laugh, check out the Miro remix here (RealAudio link):

http://www.miromusic.com/sounds/battleshipgrey.ram

Honestly, I don't dig Tiesto's music much, but I simply love the remix with the vocals.

There are a few others I paid quite a bit for:

Polaroid - So Damn Beautiful (Brothers In Rhythm remix) - £30
UNKLE trilogy boxset, 3x12" from Japan - £65 or so

and quite a bit on a few rare cds in my collection.

Dr Good Groove,

You paid that much for a good quality *COPY*?!? I hope you meant the original disc, as £71 is a boatload for a cd-r. I have both Fires of Ork releases (first one on Ambient World, sadly), and I must say I like the second release more than the first.

dodgy,

There were a few releases of Polaroid. The one Seaman played on his GU cd is the Amethyst remix, which I have a spare of, if you're looking for it. The BIR remix was apparently limited to 30 copies, I got it from a guy whose brother worked for Audio Therapy when they pressed it up a few years back. The BIR remix only appeared on the Renaissance Progression cd set, far as I know. Both are listed on Discogs:

Polaroid

The version of "Burning Flame" that Oakenfold used on his GU was really limited, someone was selling that release on eBay this past summer, but I couldn't bring myself to spend 50 quid on a song I don't think is that great
