software for recording mixes onto a apple mac.

now then geezers, does anyone know what software you can get to record your mixes direct onto a mac???

I've used Audacity for this. It's free and quite easy to edit mixes together if you get interrupted or something. Everything works with the released versions for a pre-intel processor. If you have an Intel Mac, there's only beta versions (make sure you don't use a G3/G4/G5 version) and they haven't got an MP3 export plugin yet.
