Bootleg or mp3 whats the difference?

I am going to be contraversial but whats the difference between having a tune on mp3 or bootle

Not a great deal I suppose as both are unsanctioned formats of the track. I suppose the authorities come down harder on bootleggers, as they are trying to make money out of repressing records, whereas mp3s are largely distributed without charge. The scale of mp3 distribution is also so widespread, it is almost impossible to trace the source of an mp3. Ed

Mp3's are generally non-profit making - where as a vinyl bootleg is solely done for profit

It's a moral thing

Was looking at tune on e bay at the mo Q words thats the choice..wanted it for years last on for £150 ! Obviously massively hard to get hold of so i got it on Bootleg instead. On again at the mo on ebay up to £50+ already 7 days left. Suppose its all about how much your prepared to pay for a tune you really want.

Yep, With records, I suppose the price your prepared to pay is what it's worth to YOU. Q Words to me is probably worth a tenner max, but I can appreciate that it is a sought after tune, well hyped up (Which sways people to bid higher) I noticed the seller has a brand new copy, and he wants £500!!! Ed

Yeah its the remix version, radiate on the b side, looked everywhere solid for 6 mths ebay, gemm etc where did u get yours? u woudnt do us an mp3 of it 4 now to tide me over wud u?

I bought mine of Ant on here mate.
one min, i will see if there is a link to the mp3's on b2vos. If not I can send u em on Friday as I am in work on nights till then so I can't pick my pc up from my mates, which my tunes are on
