There are some brilliant house tracks with guitars on, it depends what you're into though. One in particular that springs to mind is by Needs called 'Across the Sea'. Its the last track on the Mr. Fingers music mix from earlier this year on DHP. Well worth checking out.

In Balearic style funky grooves, when used well it`s great. Lazily produced 80 power chord commercial MTV friendly updates are shite & should be put in a vat of boiling piranha infested battery acid!

Couple of faves for me are Substance - Bocca Juniors & My Bloody Valentine

There's a nice remix too with loads of piano as well.
Overlooked gem.

Haven't had time to read all of this thread, but I'm all for guitars in dance tracks, as long as it's sweet and exciting. I've just had a go at putting a dance track together with real guitarists myself as it happens, though I've used them like a sample base rather than a full recording. Still, the end result is a quite cool bit of future funk.

Have a listen if you like.

Rough mix. Long intro, so stick with it.

Cool.

If you're up for some constructive words.........way too much going on in that track - strip it down to its groove and take some of the better guitar bits to create the hooks that are in there somewhere......

I checked out a few of your other bits as well - you've got some good tracks there that are spoilt by your drums...........but hey nice ideas.
