It's gone for good unfortunately. Not sure why, but the guy who ran the site decided to close it. There was a thread about it on the forum over at backtotheoldskool.co.uk

Not sure if it was because of the grief they gave him on the Amnesia site but i know he was saying he was gonna call it a day cause of some of it.

Shame if it was. Oldskool live as one its not about the money for some peeps thats long gone keep it alive!

I gather it may have been something to do with amnesia. There was a post on b2vos saying something along those lines which was swiftly deleted soon after I read it. I had a look through the rest of the thread which was 2 or 3 pages long and loads of the posts had been edited Definitely something fishy going on which someone didn't want people to know about

If it was closed just due to politics/pressure from Amnesia crew it's a fookin shame

He should have just binned the Amnesia references then and kept the site general old skool then.

There were some Hacienda and Thunderdome files, which obviously had nothing to do with Amnesia. I'm sure there are plenty of other mixes that could be shared without the hassle.

copyright reasons,amnesia claiming they owned the rights to sets played by dj's back in the day.that they probably never payed the correct mcps licence for anways,allegedly.

Yeah there were somethings said about the mixes and he basically said he`d throw the towel in if it was like that, it was the last i read until i saw this thread.

There was loadsa support for him though and so there should be. We should all email him and get it back up sure that would be all it would take.

A lot of work went into that site over the years i`m sure.

cracking site, I discovered it about 4 years ago and forgot all about it until I saw a post about it on here....its a shame all good things come to an end.

Erm well guess i had only discovered it about a year ago, but to see all the vids of the warehouses or to pop a mix on whilst gettin ready ready to go out, its really pissed me off its gone.
You guys obviously know all the politics behind this. Its the best site i had found by along stretch, unless someone can correct me here,,!!!!
