Question Party People
Just checking out the WANTS section and Party People is there again.
I think everyone who has a different version of this should post all details from the record here just to see how many versions of this are actually on vinyl.

The copy I have is the same as Vinylanimals:-

The cat # etched into the vinyl is 'ST 001'
Red stamp on boths sides one saying "Trix mix" the other "Manic mix"

This is a booty of a booty on the 'Trix' side and the Manic has obviously been bootied from 'db records'

Im confused, i always thought the trix mix had that piano in, that Vinyl Animal just posted aclip of.

Carl Cox dropped in in 94 at the second sight (Fantazia)

So is the trix mix just the whippy one without the piano in, and also i seem to remember having a bright pink vinyl with the manic mix on as well 95/96

....erm

right thats muddled stuff up now.

Ive got the Trix 'proper' mix somewhere, I will up a sample and up a scan of the label!!

Trix mix has a piano, but it aint the one ur thinkin of!!!! There's no whips, thats the illegal booty, done by some dodgy geeza

i have the whip mix with moment in time on the bside, and the dj trix - party people remix.
both are alike but the trix version doesnt have the whip and the piano riff is different. 2 different tracks!!!

people think the whip version of party people is the trix mix because they do sound alike.
plus the bootleg version (trix/manic) of the original booty (whip), was labeled up as trix mix, which is wrong.

the whip version was out way before trix did his remix of it.

god, its so simple im confusing myself lol lol lol

theres a trix 98 remix too!!!!!!!!!!! lol lol

i think the trix mix/manic mix booty was labeled up wrong.

the trix mix on the (trix/manic) booty is in fact the Party People (Illegal 'Whip' Booty Mix).

dj trix only did the 95/96 release (no whips ect).

somebody has got mixed up with labeling the trix/manic booty, thats why everybody thinks its the trix mix.

Hmmm, White label Cat's often define summit!! And as I said in another thread, i think someone from Blackpool is behind this, I wonder if BLR means BLackpool Records?!?!?! lol Well you never know!! I said that i think Joliffe may be behind this illegal mix, n i think he's from Blackpool, maybe wrong though!! This is just a guess mind, no one take it too seriously!!!
