way way baxck I had the good fortuen to play had a massive London do(dance Justice,Hackney Marshes Dec 89) and the MC was E-Mix.

Know he sarted the even in the finest form iahve ever heard in any Mc before or since BUT as his large bag of narcotics began to kick in (and one of his "chats" was about the danger of drugs) the lucidity of his "rhymes" began to detorate unti lhe started ,and this is a genuine quote " I was walking aliong de road and I stepped in some dogshit"....

Some MC's were absolute tish and its annoying because a few still ruin some quailty mixing/tunes on old mix tapes... Loud and Nasty - what the f**k? Lived up to his name tho I guess...

Only 'old skool' MC I didn't mind tho was Man Parris. Imo, he was actually a nice bloke too...

Didn't Mad P used to spout racist/sexist stuff??? I may be mistaken...

I said it before and I'll say it again... (there's a sample in there somewhere!) If I had to pick an MC, Man Parris would be first choice. He's still going strong. I think he's on the bill for Global Gathering. If anyone's going, bob up and say hello - he's a top bloke...
