Remix?

I'm putting feelers out to find out what people think about re-releasing Just 4 u.I'm not sure as it already has it's place in the Club Anthems hall of fame and maybe if it was released it would take away the desire of the original,i mean it's nearly 12 years old. What do i do?..........Help me out folks please. thnx

I'm not claiming to be a god of knowledge of oldskool.... to be honest not even close to little grass hopper!

BUT there is one thing that REALLY pisses me off, is when they release a classic, and most of the time they fuck it up! Shoot the re-release before it gets anywhere, and leave the legend in the hall of fame. It has earned the right to be there, and earn the right of the memory and the honour of being there!

I hate it when teh new generation listen to a song and say, oh that is Will Young's song (for example). No it isn't! it's the platters! and FUCKEN GET IT RIGHT!

These artist have sweated long and hard to create the tune and then someone nicks all the credit! the chances are taht they will never be able to write another mass hit like that, because it takes everything out of you! and then the will and need to write dies off, and you can never reach taht level agian!

hat do otehr people think?

My view is, if your going to remix it, then remix it in an old skool style and not, Trance, Hard 'Ouse, Funky house etc

Not sure how commercially viable that would be for you, or whether you care about that anyway

Mega track tho, love it

yeh i agree

sounds a bit greedy but its a tune that means a hell of alot to a certain bunch m8, i would cringe every time some dj scooter went past with a remake pumped out his car in 2003

ultimately its your decision mate, personally i thnik you have the talent to compose a NEW tune that will become a classic :

oh sorry

don't know that tune. I'm sure it's great but when i think of hall of fame classics I think of strings of life, break for love, rich in paradice etc.

i remember P.B.T performing it live at the gallery in Leeds in 91 ??? ish

it shock the club to its foundations so obviously went out n bought it

id leave it alone imo.....sounds like money ruling over artist integrity

But what do i know :p
