Idiots on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...item=919996856

already at 25 quid+ for rhythm quest...dont these people realise that you can get a copy for 12 or 15 from netsounds (2 sellers) and probably less if you actually look harder and dont get sucked into stupid bidding wars....

no doubt all the ebay sellers will now be muttering STFU

Ridiculous..! I've got a double pack of this on Network. Compared to whatever release that is at £25 so far, would mine go for much more?

I find ebay really "inconsistant". I ahve seen mass bidding on a record that then goes for a really high price(example TOny G "Tony's SOng"- went for almost £40). THe following week the same item will go for peanuts (track went for £1-20. Same pressing same quality).

And that is not an isolated example

yours

ain't it stupid

I have sold my own records for a silly price on ebay and then bid on the same item elsewhere at a considerably less price
and won it

then when my item has been paid for
pay for my item i've won and get them to send it to the winner of my record

mariah 'someday' (springs to mind)
(especially if 'sasha oldskool' is in the title)

but i usually don't cos I feel tight

Its not often i bid on a stupid price item without checking other available items before bidding

I always find if you email the the second highest bidder (during the auction) and make them an offer say 2/3 of the ebay price they'll usually buy it off you instead
sold quite a few lately doing that

RULE OF THIS

Ebay ettiquete THERE IS NON

yeah but it these inconsistencies that make e-bay so great, like it's said above a tune can go for £40 one week and a few quid the next..it's great if you're a buyer and not to daft to check prices elsewhere..

but as the thread says these guys are idiots..paying £25 for a £5 tune.

but it is what it's worth to the "buyer"...

I ahve bought (recently) mint copies of obscure early house stuff (84-86) cos mine where used for "work" and show it - this stuff looks like it had never been played...

the sunny side up EP is actually a quality bit of vinyl...that doesnt mean it's worth 50 quid plus tho. Obviously if I sold mine it would then be worth 50 quid but as I buyer I wouldnt pay it

Looking at the money he (dannythefish) has paid I am inclined to think he may be being used to manipulate auction prices...or has more money than sense.
