I grabbed loads of them 2 or 3 years ago, some really nice sets on there, but some of them are seriously bad quality. Well worth a listen all the same.

some 5th generation tape copies there innit - especially the ron hardy ones

Iv'e downloaded several, the Farley Jackmaster ones off the radio 1986-9 are all good quality in mp3 (acid tunes over Martin Luther King samples, lots of mad stuff). I can definately say to anyone who is into Chicago house to get sorted with the Fast Eddie - WBMX - 1987 mix (MP3) - it's on the first page - only 1/2 hour, but proper quality.

Thing about the site is that most are Real Audio not mp3, but there's still loads of mp3 mixes there, although not all are full 90 min mixes. I'd love the full 90 min versions of some of those 86/7 Music Box mixes - all raw acid, jack house. But best mix site on the internet, no contest.

Look for an early Jeff Mills one off the radio where he is known as "The Wizard" - the mixing is unbelievable and he crams in nuff tuneage - mix of hip hop, hip house & house :
