tc, both, although I only went to uk mids a few times, I never liked it that much. I was still trying to hold onto the remnants of the early style of house and viewed UK MIDS style of hardcore as just a bit too much. Some of our lot always went there

It was a nice venue though, purpose built wasn't it

onlt went a few times myself, was pretty much on some kinda industrial estate wasnt it, if i remember correctly ?

where in midlands you from? have we got yet another brummie in the house?

it was yeah, it certainly looked industrial inside anyway, think they tried to emulate the hacienda but failed miserably

I saw this while I was searching for some old stuff and noticed it had a link for Tune id's, never in a million years I'd have thought that I'd bump into a right old pair of ravers from back in the day.

I might add to those who don't yet know, A proper couple of turntable mechanics they are as well. We did a small gig a while back and Alex and Ben naturally got the place jumping, I got up for my turn, put a couple of records on and everyone buggered off .

I was a wee bit so left it to these guys to get it going again




btw, if i've still got some of your tapes...tough, i'm keepin' em
