G'day From Down Under

G'day All

Great to find this site and what a great site it is. As you can probably tell from my login name an introduction, I live in Sydney, Australia and am also a West Brom fan!.

Originally from Birmingham, I am a retired clubber from the Birmingham scene and at one stage had a collection of over 1100 records but sold them (very reluctantly) before I emigrated to Australia.

From about 1992, I clubbed hard to about 1999 / 2000 and my favourite club was Wobble which was my spiritual home in the early days. Other clubs were Love Revolution at the Institute in Digbeth, the Steering wheel, Moneypenny's, Decadence at Bakers, Bakers in general, C.R.E.A.M. (Birmigham) and of course Marco's and the West End Bar in the good old days

As i say, I sold all of my records which were all 1990 to 1998 with a smattering up to 2000 but I don't have any mixes of myself from back then and all of my bought mix tapes have either been lost, broken or given away so it's great to find a whole load on here to download with a lot of the tunes I owned.

Anyway, keep up the good work and I maybe tapping one or two of you up as there's a few mixes i would like that appear not to be available anymore. Bear with me though, I'm a bit new to all of this downloading lark

Cheers

Bondi

Hi Shooms

I've already seen that thread, that's how I found the website I think, searching for wobble mix tapes on Google, that jon hollis set is awesome, certainly brings back some memories!

I especially liked the bit about the Tartan trousers and the Silver shirts, I had numerous pairs myself, as well as a pair of crushed velvet and matching jacket

Cheers

Hi Guys

Thanks for all your replies and warm welcomes. I like the pictures of the flyers above, I had all of them! I've still got my 'Wobble' travel tooth brush and toothpaste somewhere, they handed out one NYE. It came in a little plastic case with the logo on the front, oh the memories!

Cheers

Bondi (Graham)
