Cried laughing at this one....it creates a ludicrous picture in my head. I have forwarded the link to a few of my mates who are on the same wave length. I actually lived in Hudds for 4 years whilst at University, so I know the place well. Always thought there was something strange going on

I was in Huddersfield from 1992-1996. Used to go to the Ku Club on Lockwood Rd, and other than that it was just the Students Union and the odd after hours. We generally used to go to manchester-Hacienda (Shine) or Basics at the Music Factory, then Pleasure Rooms.

KU Club - nice 1 mate so did I!!! our paths probably crossed did you go to the allnighter when Sasha played? - top night/day just remember it being really weird falling out of the club at 8 in the morning or whatever, stinking of sweat, still rushing off the copious amonts of speed i had had (my drug of choice back then cos it kept you going all night )

I didn't go to the Sasha one, but I think my brother might have gone to it. my favourite night there was actually SOLID BOND, the Soul Funk night on Mondays (I think). They used to drop the odd house tune like Rio rhythm Band and the like as well. Me and a mate put on a free party there once for his birthday (think it was in 1995) It was the Saturday before Industry (The Cream offshoot) started, and the club was free on the Saturday. So we took our decks down, had full control of the lighting, and they put barstaff on. Was pretty busy, with a really diverse Random crowd. Had a right laugh!! Ed
