I was having trouble with my computer, so I called the Help Desk. The computer guy came - clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. As he was walking away I asked him what was wrong and he replied, "It was an ID Ten T Error"
I said, "What's an ID Ten T error in case I need to fix it again"
He grinned and said "Haven't you ever heard of an ID Ten T Error?"
"No" I replied
"Write it down" he said "and I think you will figure it out"

I wrote: I D 10 T

I always got told to RTFM (Read The F**cking Manual) at my old job a lot when I asked the programmers questions.

Of course the manuals did come in several volumes the size of phone books which is why i was asking them in the first place!
