problem with mediafire

can anyone help me with this?

i was a free user on mediafire until it stopped allowing me to download so i signed up and it still wont allow me to do so.... im using a Mac G4..

its saying that i have used up 1955 downloads which is a load of b****x ! this is prior to me signing up !!

did anyone have similar problems ????

I'm not an expert but sometimes if I add a file from someone else it often notes the amount of downloads that have already occurred on the file. I have often wondered if this adds to the downloads total and also the amount of bandwidth used...

My suggestion is to check the stats section and email them for help

I know mediafire have just changed their site and could be having teething problems with it as a few times i have not been able to get on to it.

it seems odd to me that they should restrict the amount of files as they have just increased the size of files free uses can store to 200mg (which is the reson i up graded to a pro account.

I was considering finding a good file splitter so i could downgrade again but cant recall the thread it was in... sorry if this is not too helpful

Seems to be working away now mate.... maybe it just took a bit of time to transfer over to paid account from free user ???? fck knows but its sound now !
