View Source in Internet Explorer

Anyone come across this before? When I go to view source in Internet Explorer nothing happens. Checked into IE Options and you can configure a HTML Editor, I have mine set as notepad and its doesn't do sh*t. I even tried frontpage but nada... any ideas anyone?

Not tried editing the registry key which I'll try tonight but if that doesn't work has anyone come across this b4?

it seems as if its trying to open something but nothing happens... back to sunny technet for mindless searching :-)

What have you got under your 'View HTML' setting in IE options?

I'm assuming notepad, if not set it to that (or get a proper html editor like homesite and set that up) also try the 'reset seetings' button on the options page.

Don't know if any of you care but I've sorted out my problems. Still not 100% sure of the problem but it was one of the following:

1) The Temp Inet Files directory was too large
2) The permissions on the cookie file were inadequate
3) Missing registry key
4) Invalid TMP environmental variable

Did all four individually and nothing happened, just did all four together and it worked... go figure.
