Running Slow & other help too please

Yes, I too am on broadband and have noticed this site being a bit on the slow side, when others are OK. I have been fine today though, except that I have been unable to send a post on the original 'running slow' thread just got the blue screen again - having a think about it )

Anyway, the other help I need is this - I want a signature like everyone else (boo hoo). Not a clue how to do this or where to find a nice picture etc. or get it onto the site.

Also I have funny pictures etc that I could post on the Humour section but have no idea how to do that either.

I know - I'm thick and I don't ask for much do I but any help would be gratefully received

Well... Tigger and Grad are resident sigmeisters, they will knock up a good one for you.

If you already have one then it has to be hosted on a website. So that the message board can go grab it to display. If you have one online then you need to click the 'UserCP' and then 'Edit Profile'.

Then in the signature box you need enter:

{IMG}http://mysite.com/myimage.jpg{/IMG}


(Change the { bracket for a [ bracket )

The same applies for funny images you want to post. They must have a location on the web. You can get some free web space that you can use for this. The just click the IMG button while creating the new thread to insert the image.


To find some images go to: http://www.google.com/imghp and use the keyword search
