| The advantages of adsl Ive just hooked myself up with Broadband, and want to utilise the bad boy to the max. However I am a learner rather than a teacher on this shit (WTF!!!). I am interested i downloading films, not porno's!!! but ones that aint out over here yet. What do I do?? Cheers peeps.

| To start with try searhcing for them on http://www.kazaa.com or http://www.edonkey2000.com/ once youve mastered that you can find loads of IRC chat rooms dedicated to film swappage.

| i would like to know this too...i can never find films anywere except kazaa... also we got a new card for our broad band wen we first got it ...apparently it makes it run to the max??? don't know if this is true or not cos it can sometimes d/l reaaly slow WTF...i was NO help...sorry jayne x |

| U can only download something as fast as the server can send it....... think of it as a Ferrari, on the motorway you can go like 210MPH but if you pull off onto a dirt road youll be lucky to get 50MPH out of it.....hmmmmm did that make sense ??

| Kazza is the more simple of the 2 options m8 to get you started. Basically u download the little software and install it. You will be asked a few question and will finally end up with an account. Once thats done its dead simple, you just open Kazaa and use it like a normal search engine e.g Yahoo or Google, just put the name of the game,song,FILM you want in the search box and wait a few for it to give you the results. Then just click on one of the results and wait for the download to end (can take hours for a film m8, so best just to do it before you go to bed, leave it on all night and Hey presto! you got a film for breakfast).

when it's open and connected go to search and highlight the subject u want to search for...music, video, software...type wot ur looking for and it will bring a list of stuff up...if you hold the cursor over 1 of the titles it will give you a bandwith in the description, try and go for the higher 1's cos u will get them much quicker it's really easy to get the hang of after a couple of goes...not too good for old skool tunes but everything else is there...hope this helps!! jayne x |

| The big problem with kazza is that it full of spyware ! The best thing to do is unistall it and go here http://www.kazaalite.com/nuke/ This is the same program with all the spyware taken out  Also another good place to get movies is newsgroups. |

| Cheers Jayne and Myk, are there any conflict probs with Kazaa software? Ive heard that there is a lot of spy stuff in it but is this not really anything to worry about to much? If its ok, I'll give it a go. Thanks again.
