Ipod to car adapter advice

Can anyone recommend a decent cheap adapter that will connect an ipod to a car stereo.

Just bought one on ebay for 99p but its poo

Which Stereo do you have mate ???

I have a sony one and i bought a kit of ebay that did the trick. Lets me control the ipod from the stereo/steering wheel controls.

Sound quality is amazing too.

Well Iv just put my standard VW one back in after my decent Sony one got nicked ...my own fault for leavin it unlocked

The VW one only has a tape

Anyway think Iv got it sorted now, just thought it would be better to buy an ipod and an adapter instead of a new car stereo sick of burnin CDs
