Can you be sure its a driver problem as flaky RAM modules can cause blue screens as well. Whats the error message you are getting.

the problem i have is that when it blues screens it reboots straight away so its impossible to read the jargon on screen .only once has it given me the chance to send a report to m/soft which is where i got the info about it being a driver problem.next time i get to send a report to m/soft i will make note of what it says.

turned my pc on tonight and got the system has recovered from a serious error message.so clicked on to see what data the error report contains and got this as error signature
BCCode : 10000050 BCP1 :C101C17C BCP2 : 00000000 BCP3 : 8050298A
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

so then clicked to view technical information about this error report and got this info
C:\DOCUME~1josy\LOCALS~1\TEMP\WER70af.dir00\Mini12 0906-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1josy\LOCALS~1\TEMP\WER70af.dir00\sysdat a.xml

sent the report to m/soft this is what i got back
Microsoft Online Crash Analysis

to say im lost is a understatement
any clues anyone

SY,

how long has your PC been suffering from the blue screen problem?

Can you remember installing new software/drivers just prior to this happening?

Has this problem increased in the times it happens?

please let me know and I ask some more questions lol - but may be able to assist in your troubles

BSOD on boot is usualy due to HDD or IDE controller issues in the 32bit system.

Try booting into safe mode and removing the IDE chanel/controlers from device manager, reboot the machine and it should hopefully repair the damage. Its usualy due to installation of new HDD or an update. email me if it persists m8 and ill do a remote repair in safe mode for you.
