help with ipod video converters

want to convert Avi, Wma, etc.. into Mpeg4 so it works on video ipod just want to know if any you guys or gals know of any decent free software which does this ?????

have downloaded a programe called A-one ipod, it's a very good program but i am only allowed to convert 20 MB otherwise have to subscribe ! dont want to do this as wont be getting my monies worth as will not be using the software that often

any assistance appreciated

There's probably better ones around now - or at least more specialised for a ipod, but I used to use mpegable for converting files to mp4 for my phone.

Mind you it leaves a box with Dicas on in one corner, so probably not the best really
